*otherwise known as “KOL members attend the Yarn Harlot’s BookBookBook Tour”
As my camera is this close to d-e-d, I had to rely on others’ efforts. Ms. Happy has chronologically documented the event, as has Alison, and Lesley. Stephanie Pearl-McPhee was a lovely, gracious, and hilarious speaker. Enough so, that I think any muggle or member of CHOKE would have enjoyed the event as much as the knitters.
I also stole downloaded some of the pictures from our KOL facebook group that Jen D and Steph took:

Jak-in-the-box and I are for some reason sticking out our chests with we-have-matching-tshirts pride. I blame all the chest lifts Belinda makes us do in class. I don’t know what Jak’s excuse is

I do hope Stephanie liked her t-shirt. It’s green.

I think we look cute here. Rho did SUCH a great job. You can check out our basement t-shirt sweatshop here.
Speaking of which. You should see how Mr Moe was dressed to go to work today:

Aww. Did he really wear it out in public? That’s sweet!

All the other husbands are going to be so jealous. I just know it.

Mr. Happy is already aware of Mr. Moe’s t-shirt and is quite upset that he doesn’t have one.

Terra, I don’t wish to alarm you…but it appears that your husband is headless.
Otherwise, very cool that he went out on his own in public wearing the uniform of the halifax army of knitters.

I cut off his head in the photo because he had this “my coffee has not hit my bloodstream” look about him.

[...] Rhonda designed an awesome KOL logo and the girls silkscreened matching T-shirts to wear to the event. They had an extra one, so they gave it to me. Squee! So much squee! And serendipitously, it is robin’s egg blue… I have this little obsession with any turquoise-y colour… Oh, and guys, I’m way sorry I didn’t contribute $3 or so at the time to the silkscreening fund. I know details about that were on the KOL blog, but I didn’t read them beforehand as I didn’t expect I would have anything to do with the T-shirts, and I was just getting back from the bathroom when you were chipping in money at the pub and didn’t know what was going on. They made a shirt for the Harlot as well, a green one, of course. You can see a picture of them presenting the T-shirt in Terra’s post The Fire Dorks Leave Their Houses. [...]

Just edited my Harlot-related post so that it actually links here, too. When, in one’s excitement, one has about thirty browser tabs open, one tends to lose track of some of them. Or at least I do.
I am very proud of Mr. Moe for wearing the shirt in public. Although it’s too bad that the dog doesn’t have one, too. Wouldn’t that look cute?
