long time, long time…
was semi-planning to go knitting tonight but now i see you won’t be there and i am reconsidering. is that horrible of me? if kathryn is up for it, i’ll go… maybe we should start a snobby little splinter group of knitters… hahaha… or just start meeting for coffee sometime or something…

I am a beginner knitter and have a gorgoeus mohair yarn I’d like to make your slouchy copy cat hat in-
May I ask you for the pattern, with the same amount of slouch as your nicely adapted pattern, but in a straight knit or knit purl-not in the cabled pattern-to make it much easier?
This may be too much to be asking for-if so, my apologies.
